What is Animposter?
Animposter is a bluffing party game inspired by the 'imposter' genre (Undercover, Spyfall…), anime and manga edition. The majority share one word, imposters get a close one. Your job is to figure out who's who.

How do you play?
Pick packs, set player and imposter counts, the game deals words, each player gives a one-word clue, then you vote. Full rules are on the dedicated page.
Is it free?
The base pack is fully free, with no ads or subscription. Additional packs will be available as one-off purchases later to keep the project alive — you choose what you pick up.
What's the minimum number of players?
3 minimum for the mechanic to work. Sweet spot is 4 to 8 — enough room to bluff without dragging the rounds.
How do you play remotely?
Online mode lets you create a room with a 5-letter code. Share the link with friends, each player joins from their own phone and sees their word on their screen. Run the discussion over Discord, voice/video chat, or text.
What is the room code?
A 5-letter code generated when you create an online room. It uses a confusion-free alphabet (no O/0, no I/1) so it works when said out loud. Guests can paste it or just click the shared link.
Do I need an account?
No. No account, no email, no personal data. You launch the game and play.
Does it work offline?
In-person mode works 100% offline once the app is installed (PWA). Online mode needs a connection to sync players.
Which anime / manga are covered?
The base pack includes 200+ curated pairs: mainstream franchises (One Piece, Naruto, MHA…) plus deeper cuts. Additional packs will follow later on.
Do you collect my data?
Almost nothing. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics which doesn't set cookies and doesn't track individuals. No personal data on the server. Details in the Settings menu.
