Intellectual property

Animposter is an independent project, not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any anime or manga publisher. Character names, series, and locations mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners and are cited as cultural references. The site's interface, code and original texts remain the property of their author.

Privacy and personal data

Animposter measures its audience without cookies or ad tracking: Cloudflare Web Analytics and PostHog (hosted in the European Union) collect anonymous usage statistics, with no profiling and no data resale.

Game configuration (selected packs, settings, names entered in offline mode) and the offline game in progress (6 hours at most) are saved only on your device, in the browser's local storage. They never leave the device.

In online mode, the nickname you enter and the game state pass through the realtime server for the duration of the game, then are deleted automatically (rooms are removed after 30 minutes of inactivity).

If you create an account (premium features), your email address and purchases are processed by our processors Supabase (authentication, database) and Lemon Squeezy (payments), solely to provide the service.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data. Exercise it via the contact above. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Terms of use

Animposter is an online party game provided as is. Free content is available without an account. The service may evolve, be interrupted for maintenance, or change at any time.

Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. An account may be suspended in case of abusive use of the service (cheating, disrupting games, exploiting vulnerabilities).

Premium packs are sold by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, whose terms of sale apply to purchases — including VAT, invoicing and refunds. In accordance with consumer law, immediate access to digital content entails waiving the right of withdrawal, collected at the time of purchase.

Purchasing a pack grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it within Animposter. Pack contents may not be extracted, redistributed or resold.

Animposter is provided without warranty of any kind. The publisher's liability shall not exceed the amounts actually paid over the last twelve months.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
